This holiday dressing idea is perfect for a night out at a fashion-y event.  While some might find a crop tee a little risqué, I love the idea of pairing one with an otherwise classic silhouette.  The result is a chic, sophisticated, and fashion forward look.  I’ll be wearing something very similar for tonight’s sneak peek party of Refinery29′s Tinsletown Bazaar! Spoils from the Sample Sale: Jimmy Choo

Spankin’ new choos went for $225, and damaged for $75 at the sale this year until the last hour (when we showed up!) when shoes were slashed to $175 and $50 respectively.  Bags that started at $250 were dropped to $75. (The shimmer rose piece was only $20 do to a slightly wiggly clasp. Score!) Lesson: if you’re not dying for a piece of Jimmy Choo in your wardrobe, but can’t resist a sample sale, wait until the end when prices are sure to be slashed. Now, off to buy a new ensemble to help rationalize these orange scuba gladiators (because we’re aware we had a brief moment of insanity buying them in the first place).
