Our last post was inspired by the many wedding engagements filling our calendars this spring and summer. So happy for our friends! We decided to play dress up over the weekend and give two looks a test run that we are considering for some upcoming nuptials. What do you think?
Shopping for dresses has been such a treat. (Can’t wait to shop for the big white one!) We’ll leave you with our two rules for being the perfect wedding guest, besides buying something expensive from the gift registry…
First, consider the wedding’s location, theme, colors, and vibe when shopping. A lot of time and thought was put into this day, so give your look similar attention. Be festive and get glammed up! Second, be comfortable. There is nothing worse than having to sit out while everyone else is on the dance floor because your shoes are pinching your feet. Give them a test run before the big day and if you must, sneak some flats into the ceremony. A bejeweled thong sandal is okay. Bare feet are not.
