Go Try It On,The Social Side of Style, asked us to put together 3 Thanksgiving looks to share with their network of fashionable followers. Below are our suggestions for what to wear this Thanksgiving. Whether you have a fabulous dinner party to attend, a get-together with friends, or a family gathering with relatives, we hope that you will stop to give thanks for all of the good things in your life right now.
For get-togehers with friends, try a luxurious maxi skirt and sweater in festive, autumn colors. You’ll look snazzy enough for a party, yet effortless enough to have slaved all day on those (store bought) baked goods. Oh and let’s not forget comfy enough for couch lounging after too much wine. Maxi skirts are like pajamas.
A dinner party is a party! We like the idea of dressing up in a colorful printed number. The long sleeves and almost-knee-length silhouette makes this dress dinner party (not clubbing) appropriate.
In our family, Thanksgiving means eating way to much and passing out on the sofa by 5pm. If this sounds familiar, may we recommend these (very stylish) elastic waist pants and a roomy bag for carrying leftovers. Keep the look dressy/casual with a statement necklace and chunky heeled ankle boot.
